Quality Analyst

General Purpose of the Position

Responsible for working with the World Class customer base and Operations team to ensure the timely execution and implementation of corrective actions, RMA/RTV processing, quality defect resolution, and repair. Accountable for safely achieving the highest product quality standards, while driving process improvements through implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques. This position will participate in both the technical and social components of the Quality team. Leadership and skill acquisition in both categories is paramount.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct two 2-second improvements per month
  • Capacity to work closely with operations
  • Creation and implementation of Work Instructions, Control Plans, PFMEA' s and related quality documentation
  • Timely disposition of defective materials to suppliers
  • RTV and RMA Processing
  • Leader of ISO standards at facility
  • Corrective Action follow-up and implementation (Daily)
  • Customer on-site liaison
  • Conduct daily Quality defect meeting
  • Performs and/or supports internal audits as required
  • Lead and improve quality processes in daily work to ensure product compliance
  • CMM Romer operation
  • Create, improve and engage employees in a safe working environment
  • Accountable to meet and exceed customer quality requirements
  • Support the assembly and shipping/receiving of products
  • Actively communicate and interact with members of Operations and Supply Chain departments
  • Provide value-add services to our internal and external customers
  • Problem resolution to difficult quality challenges
  • Effective employees expected to actively participate in our WCI industries cultural activities and responsibilities (which can include) Safety, Supply Chain, Operations, Cost, Delivery and Engagement within the organization.

  • Ability to acquire skills necessary to navigate within the Camelot and or Inventory ERP- Change Management is critical

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MRP system preferred

Education and Experience Required

4-year degree required and/or commensurate experience
