Operations Supervisor

Mission:

The core mission of the Operations Supervisor is the leadership of daily operations within our production facilities. Accountable for safely achieving the highest product quality standards, while driving process improvements through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques. This position will be a driver for both the technical expertise and social components of the of the operations team. Leadership and skill acquisition in both categories is paramount.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Lead and support the assembly and shipping/receiving of products
  • Apply and improve quality processes into daily work to ensure product compliance
  • Accountable for maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Actively communicate and interact with members of the Quality and Customer Service departments
  • Provide value-add services to our internal and external customers
  • Problem resolution to difficult operational challenges
  • Effective employees expected to actively participate in our WCI industries cultural activities and responsibilities (which can include) Supply Chain, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Engagement within the organization.

General Requirements

  • 4-year degree preferred and/or commensurate experience
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MRP system preferred
