General Purpose of the Position

This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers specifically in the reporting of status of delivery. The Supply Chain position is the first point of contact to their assigned customers by facility. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring timely delivery of components from our supply base. This position will be accountable for the technical and social components of the supply chain position. Continual skill acquisition in both categories is paramount.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct two 2-second improvements per month
  • Capacity to work closely with operations
  • Expediting all parts assigned by customer, suppliers, or warehouse facility
  • Coordinates expedite situations with Operations team and/or supplier
  • Provide value add services to our internal and external customers
  • Resolves receipt issues at customer or facility
  • Problem resolution to difficult supply chain challenges
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving the delivery performance within our supply base
  • Other assigned tasks as requested, including backup, expected to actively participate in our WCI industries cultural activities and responsibilities (which can include) Production, Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Engagement within the organization
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to support other members of the supply chain team as well as other business units

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to acquire skills necessary to navigate within the Camelot and or Inventory ERP-Change Management is critical
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Constructive attitude that continues seeks to resolve daily challenges
  • Have the ability to demonstrate levels of decision making based on proficiency and experience aligned with business objectives
  • Ability to work at a fast and deliberate pace
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to analyze data and issues to uncover root cause and provide solutions

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MRP system preferred

Education and Experience Required

High School Diploma Required

  • 4-year degree preferred and/or combination of education and experience
